Last updated: 29 September 2026. Plain English, no legalese — here's exactly what happens with your data on MiniBreak.

The short version

We collect no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and nothing you do on MiniBreak is sent to us. Your game progress lives only in your own browser.

Game progress

Things like your high scores and which level you've reached are stored in your browser's localStorage — that's a small storage area on your own device. We never see it, we never receive it, and we couldn't read it if we wanted to. Clear your browser data and it's gone for good.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own — no analytics, no tracking. The one exception is advertising:

• Ads. Our ad partner Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure ads. If you're in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, you'll first see Google's consent message — Consent, Do not consent or Manage options — and your choice controls whether ads are personalised. You can revisit or change your choice any time via the "Privacy and cookie settings" link in the footer.

Ads

MiniBreak stays free with display ads, served by Google AdSense. The "Advertisement" boxes on the site are placeholders until our AdSense account review is complete — right now there is no ad code running and nothing is being tracked by an ad network.

When ads go live: consent for visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland is collected by Google's certified consent message (Consent / Do not consent / Manage options) before any personalised advertising. Google's use of your data is covered by Google's partner-sites policy, and you can opt out of personalised advertising any time at google.com/settings/ads or via "Privacy and cookie settings" in our footer.

Contacting us

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us by email so we can reply. We use them only to answer you — we don't add you to any list, and we don't share your details with anyone.

Your rights (UK)

If you ever think we hold data about you, email us at hello@minibreak.app and we'll sort it out. Since we collect nothing, there's usually nothing to delete — but you're always entitled to ask.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, when ads go live), we'll update this page and note the new date at the top.
